Duty to Consult: CanAlaska’s Frontier Project

Who? CanAlaska

Where? The Frontier Project is located approximately 75 km northeast of Cigar Lake Mine

What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:

• Access will be by helicopter or aircraft with floats/skis, truck, snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle, foot, and possible use of snow-cat or skidder

• Work is proposed to take place between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2028

• Up to 40 drill holes are being proposed, with approximately 20 on ice and 20 on land

• Up to 40 helicopter pads

• Maximum drill pad size – 30 m x 30 m (900 m2)

• Approximately 25 km of existing trails will be utilized, no new trails are expected

• Up to 200 km of new grid lines will be established for the geophysical program

• Geochemical and lake sediment samples will be collected as part of the ground prospecting program

When will these activities occur (Estimated Permit Length)? June 2025 to May 2028
