Duty to Consult: Eagle Plains’ George Lake Project
Who? Eagle Plains
Where? The George Lake Project is located approximately 80 km southwest of Wollaston Lake
What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:
• The crew will access the property via highway 995 off of highway 905 or by float or ski equipped aircraft as well as helicopter out of La Ronge or Missinipe
• The drilling crew will consist of up to 16 people on site for a duration of 6 weeks
• The geophysical crew will consist of up to 5 people on site for a duration of 3 weeks
• Work is proposed to take place intermittently between July 2025 - December 2026
• Multiple temporary work camps are being requested, each occupying less than 0.5 hectares
• Up to 18 drill holes are being proposed, with 16 on land and 2 on ice
• Helicopter pads may be established to assist with the drilling program
• Approximately 7 km of new winter trail will be established
• Up to 29 km of new line will be established for the geophysical program and will include line cutting and slashing.
