Duty to Consult: Cameco’s Dawn Lake Project

Where? 40 km northwest of Points North

What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:

•60 drill holes

•8 hydrogeological drill holes

•Ground geophysical surveys will include Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) and Direct Current (DC) Resistivity surveys

•100 km of line cutting/slashing

•40 km of new trails

•15 creek crossings

•Environmental studies will include water quality sampling, hydrology studies, winter tracking surveys, trail camera installations, and potential air quality and noise monitoring stations

•Access to the project area will occur by truck during winter and by float plane, truck, and/or ATV during summer

•Travel between camp and work sites may involve trucks, snowmobiles, ATVs, and skidders

•Crews will operate from existing camp facilities at the Cameco LaRocque Lake Camp and Points North
