Duty to Consult: Purepoint’s Dorado JV Project

Who? Purepoint

Where? The Dorado JV project is located 14 km northwest of Points North

What type of activities will occur? Mineral exploration activities, including:

• Up to 60 drill locations on land and 20 on ice. Although up to 80 drill holes are being requested, likely only 30-40 holes would be drilled.

• Maximum drill pad size is 30 m by 30 m.

• Up to 50 km of new trails, up to 10 km of ice roads, and use of up to 48 km of existing trails.

• Site would be accessed by helicopter or float plane in summer and either helicopter, snowmobiles, and or UTVs in winter.

• Helicopter pad size is 30 m by 30 m or natural clearings would be used.

• Up to 100 km of line cutting, although likely only 25 – 50 km would be cut.

• Up to 100 km of line slashing.

• Ground geophysical surveys would be completed using snowmobiles, UTVs, and existing trails or helicopter.

• Electromagnetic, resistivity and ground gravity surveys are also proposed throughout the project.

• Field crews will be housed at either Points North or at an already established temporary work camp at Turner Lake Camp.
